This accumulator allows the operator to go from working mode to transport mode without leaving the tractor seat. It functions on the RT5200H hydraulic fold tedder only or a RT5200 tedder with the hydraulic fold kit (230066) installed.

When the operator raises the tedder wings, the accumulator pushes oil back into the tilt cylinder to rotate the tedder into transport position. Correspondingly, when the wings are lowered, the tedder rotates forward into tedding position.

Fine tuning the forward tilt must be done manually during the first use. During subsequent operations it is controlled through the accumulator hydraulic circuit.
